My blog is so neglected. I am still taking photos however I have been posting them in my Facebook timeline. I have been getting home late from work recently and as soon as I get home, all I want to do is to sleep. I finally found the time and energy for blog entry.
I had some time off from work last week and I was able to pick up Sophia from school. We had a lunch date at Delicious Kitchen in Robinsons Galleria. She always picks this restaurant whenever I pick her up from school and she always requests for a Coke.
She always orders hot prawn salad which is her current favorite food, even more than Cibo.
Sophia can actually finish a whole serving of hot prawn salad if I allow her to. I control her food intake.
She also loves hakaw or steamed prawn dumplings. This was my last photo for the day. I had to go to work after lunch.
I realized that I never posted my Christmas and new year photos of family here in my blog. Here they are even if they are so delayed.
I took this one in the lobby of my condominium building and I just loved those floor to ceiling Christmas lights. I didn’t have my flash so I just made the most out of the lighting situation.
Family photos taken at home.
New year photos. These are my favorite images from 2012.
Photos I took on the last day of 2012. I used the tripod and remote control so I was able to include myself in the photos. Sophia just loved the remote.
Oh and we curled our hair for this shoot.
Oh and I need help with coding for my blog. If someone is kind enough to help me and tell me how to place a space between images and between text and image in the Delicious Kitchen photos above. I noticed that whenever I centre an image using the HTML button here in tumblr the spaces disappear. I use <div align=”center”> and </div> and place the image in between them.
Another thing. I am working on a major project and hoping to launch it on my birthday. That gives me two months. I won’t share what it is yet since I just started. But here are some of the main colors I will be using.
Stay tuned. Thanks for dropping by.
I removed Sophia’s booster seat after several requests from the little girl. She used a car seat since she was born and after six years and four months, I finally let go of it.
The use of carseats in the Philippines is an exception rather than the norm. She still has to use the seat belt though. The use of seat belts in the Philippines, is again an exception and most people use it only to avoid traffic violations and not for safety.
Aside from safety concerns, letting go of the seat would officially mean that she isn’t a baby anymore. Sob!
Here is a similar photo but in color.
I love her smile. Her baby teeth are all intact. This means, she is still a baby after all!
Watching tv? Coloring? Both. This girl can multi-task. In school, her teacher said that Sophia talks a lot in class but when she is asked a question related to what the teacher just said, Sophia can answer.
Happy birthday, Mother!
We didn’t want to get you something from the mall because we know you’d like these photos better. Here are more photos for your scrapbook lay-outs.
Birthday cupcakes. We brought these home last week, remember?
We also made you a birthday greeting using your equipment and your materials. Sophia looking through your cabinet full of rubber stamps and Sizzix die-cut letters.
This is a crafter’s haven. This is just a portion of my mom’s craft area. I cannot show my mom’s entire craft room/bedroom because it is a mess. She might disinherit me and I won’t get any of her paper and equipment.
We selected the Pink Smoothie font to cut the letters for the greeting.
Sophia busy at work. It was difficult to take photos and supervise her at the same time.
The blue machine below is a Sizzix Big Shot Die-Cut machine. Paper can be cut into any shape as long as you have the dies. It embosses too.
Sophia cut-out the greeting below using my mom’s equipment and paper from her inventory.
Then we used it for the series of photos.
Sophia said that this is a moustache.
Ninja headband again.
These photos are already in your external hard drive.
Happy birthday, Mother dear!
